Antique Large Victorian Banded Agate Brooch

Agate was a popular natural stone used in early times due to its interesting colours and patterns with no two stones being the same.  Brooches were traditionally worn in the Edwardian era to show wealth in the upper classes.

Colour:  Tones of brown with a white band.

Material: Banded Agate with a metal back pin.

Dimensions: H 5cm x W 3.5cm

Style: Late Victorian

Condition: Excellent Antique Condition with lovely solid stone and interesting graduated colouring.
