Antique Victorian Gold MIZPAH Brooch
Antique Mizpah Brooch Circa 1880 Victorian English origin. 9ct Gold with an ornate script and makers mark WBS. Popular in the Victorian era as a keepsake, Mizpah is a Hebrew word meaning 'watchtower' and is loosely interpreted as 'May God Watch Over You'
With verse engraved -
The Lord watch between me and thee when we are absent from one another.
Material: 9ct yellow Gold, marked and stamped WBS 9CT
Dimensions: 4.5cm Wide and 2cm High.
Condition: Excellent Condition. Small possible soldier marks on ball attachment areas
